A bachelor's in animation will provide you with extensive and comprehensive training in the elements of digital media.

You will study such technical subjects as 2D and 3D animation and modeling, digital illustration, and image editing. Your ability to translate and render real life physics, motion, and psychology to the animated world will receive significant attention. Basics in web design and publishing and electronic gaming will also be addressed. Your coursework will include business disciplines as well, including marketing and communications. Advantageous attitudes such as attention to client needs and the ability to work with team members will also be developed. You will further cultivate creativity in developing new and improved methods and adaptability in remaining up-to-date on the latest software available. Your abilities will be further practiced through comprehensive projects that seek to encompass a wide variety of the skills you have been developing.
This major will afford you a strong knowledge base in the various software and instruments available to you in creating digital media. Your communication and problem-solving skills and business acumen will also have been significantly developed.
