Coursework comprises the fundamentals of servicing HVAC systems. Lessons involve pipe configurations; calibration instruments; and mathematics as relevant to maintenance issues.
Students are taught how to measure air quality, voltage and resistance. They also learn troubleshooting techniques for dealing with automated controls.
Coursework includes installing and regulating gas/oil and electrical heating and air conditioning systems. Basically, students learn the ins and outs of controlling indoor air comfort.
